Weed made anything the teacher was teaching more interesting, but that would last for the first 2 classes. I seriously think it helped. My American history class was just the most amazing thing when stoned.

I never did the "high school sex" thing. So glad too. Looking at high schoolers today.....I swear, they are so dumb, if it wasn't for porn, they would think it goes in the belly button.
And being around the high school and college kids at my church, were we that dramatic growing up? Everything is "the greatest thing ever" and they get "so excited" over stuff like a napkin??? It's all perspective, I'm sure, but dang. I don't see how they will ever function in the real world

i had a 3.5 in HS. not really any girlfriends but i did date. they were either too slutty, too stuck up, or too irrelevant for anything. i have a sad life. work and video games. it's almost not even worth going out to a bar anymore, or at least to me it's not. bars and clubs just boring. i evaluated the situation and that sitting at home drinking/playing CoD was better than having to pay extra for a beer and just look at eye candy. money is worth more to me for some reason.

Also, weird to see talk on AutoCAD and Solidworks here. I used those programs at my old job. Solidworks was pretty sweet at the time.

There is nothing more sad, IMO, than someone who dwells on high school after at least 5 years out. Other than seeing my GF every day, I hated every second of it. Not pointing a finger to anyone in here, because there is a difference between reminiscing and dwelling. I work with a guy who can't get past how great life was for him in high school.

Hard to say. I assume that other people have the same issue. You work at a position, but do you REALLY only work in that role, or do you do a whole bunch of stuff.
I worked at a manufacturing plant, we made those large refrigerator units for Grocery Stores (Where you buy meat, ice cream, frozen foods, etc). I was, what is called, a CNC Programmer. I programmed sheetmetal machines, to punch out the parts that would eventually be put together to create a whole unit.
But also had to have alot of connection to the Engineers that would design the parts (for when they designed stuff that wouldn't work in real life ;P ) They used AutoCAD and Solidworks. I used it on a smaller level, but also played around in Solidworks, for fun.
Was kind of a fun job, lots of commeraderie with the guys on the floor, but insane hours (50 a week was normal time for the slow months. 70-80 hours a week during the summer. I've worked over 100 hours a week more than once). So, after a few years of that, I moved on.
Lets get back to Batman at some point, don't need to TW this up just yet ;)

sounds like my job. except i'm one of the 'engineers' that screw up every now and then. boy did i design a clusterfrick that came and bit me in the arse yesterday. i wanted to shoot myself. i'm still new to it all, but i'll get it eventually.
