i had a cookie on my laptop the other day. i think it's what was messin with it on startup. when the desktop loaded up, i kept getting the spin wheel. once i finally got it working, i scanned and i only found a cookie.

y'all just jelly. everything checks out great except for the graphics which i new were horrible when i bought the computer. i've got plenty of ram, processor is plenty, and sound is gonna come out of the graphics card when i upgrade so what's the big deal.

your SOUND card is what produces sound.. not your graphics card. 
ETA: They are almost 100% of the time integrated onto the motherboard, which your dell has.
