i think i really like this game. at first i thought i would be turned off on it just because i figured it would move along really slow, but i dig it.

it's fun to find all of the clues and try and piece everything together. kinda fricked it up a little in the buyer beware case(guy shot on sidewalk), but put it all together in the driver's seat case(abandoned, bloodied car)

as far as the tells, i was initially overthinking them. it's sooooooo obvious when they are lying, that i thought no one would be that obvious so maybe they are telling the truth.

and like everyone else, i'm still confused between doubt and lie.

awesomely detailed game that's fun to play

I just picked it up, and I'm about to start playing it. I hope it meets my expectations; I'm really stoked about this one.

I need to keep this in mind. I think I'm over-thinking things too many times. I usually do well on the first witness...the person at the crime scene. Then the next couple get harder. I'm only two cases into the Traffic desk.

So besides not looking at you, and touching their face, what else have you noticed?

they stutter a little bit when they lie...but i'm only 5 cases deep. like someone said, it'll probably get a lot harder as the game progresses

It does. Especially if you haven't collected all the evidence or tracked down all the leads when you end up interrogating people back at the station.

Maybe this will help.

This article gives some tips and tricks.

I really wasn't looking at what direction they were looking in, just the fact that they were looking around.

Got to play a few hours last night and really enjoyed it.

but now feel relatively comfortable with the interviewing stuff so far.

I just make sure and do all the side cases I can to receive the points to rank up. I like having those intuition points handy.

How it should have read:

Man, I was doing good during interrogations and then failed to charge someone in a case resulting in a cussing from the boss. Went back to main menu, played the case again, and charged someone after using my intuition points for better results.

My interrogation successes decreased after reading those tips. Back to how I was doing the interrogations.

How it did read (pretty much how I talk):

Man, I was doing good and then failed. Went back to main menu and charged someone using my intuition points.

Went down after reading those tips. Back to how I was doing them.

yeah this game is legit. a lot of fun. totally different from anything else. still working on the "doubt vs lie" thing too, figuring out what evidence to point to after a statement.

i like how at any point you can do a Street Crime too though, to get your fill of action.

Solid game.

Jus picked it up.

Not sure about being a pig.

Can I still get some side action, kick back money for being crooked? Haha

Think the woman from Kansas with the Southern accent may have been Peggy Olsen outside of the bar.

And if you've watched Bones or Californication at all, Mrs. Bishop (the director's wife) is Carla Gallo (Daisy).

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one having some issues with interviews and etc. Like you all have said, sometimes I absolutely nail it but others it's a little baffling.
