I'm thinking about getting this after work today. Haven't played it in a few years. Should I? Can I change number of games played in franchise mode?

Yes, this game is the reason I own a PS4, and by all accounts this years game is the best it's ever been.

Yes
No, I don't think you can. In previous years the franchise mode games had to be 162 game seasons. I believe I saw this question answered on one of the streams, and 162 game season in franchise mode is the only option.
You can change it in online franchise, but it won't be as in depth as offline franchise.
Can also do season by season and change the length.
The info about changing number of franchise games is false though. Which really really sucks, because this would be the one thing I would change.

Had to start Diamond Dynasty in beginner because my team sucks so bad. Haha. After the first pitch I immediately get Gray up for the 2nd and 3rd in conquest mode if he's not the random pitcher.

I'm 4-1 in battle royale. I really like the 3 inning games. Allows me to really blow through lots of them at one sitting

I really like the three inning games in conquest... I need to read up on it more though. I don't understand what purpose it serves to play a game in attack.. And then you have to play it again in capture to get the fans... I'm sure I'm doing something wrong

Hey y'all I don't post much here but lurk all the time. I'm a huge the show fan. Been waiting for this game since New Years. I've watched every stream and wish I didnt have to stop playing for school tomorrow because I could probably binge for 48 hours. Anyway I ordered the Mvp edition and preordered from GameStop and in those 25 packs +/- a few I got, the best players I got were a gold Stephen Strasburg, diamond machado, and the rookie david Ortiz. Not like last year where I got a 99 Clayton Kershaw on my first pack. I could answer a lot questions y'all have because I watched the streams and read OS daily

Finished 5-1 in Royale tonight. My only loss came when my 2nd baseman made a throwing error with 2 outs and the next batter hit a 2 run bomb. Probably my fault for leaving one down the middle but I was still upset over the BS error on a routine grounder.
