There are some and I think they need to lean into that more going forward. No time to explain was great even if the gun wasn't all that special.

The no time to explain quest was awesome. Black spindle was pretty cool as well. I like those, where it's a string of missions to complete and not just busy work bullshite.
I don't like how Thorn is a RNG quest and outbreak prime has too many stipulations.

Outbreak Prime was the quest every hardcore player wanted until we saw what it entailed

Good for them. I ain't doing all that shite. I was in a chat group with some clan dudes while they were doing it and I was just doing other shite. Got a headache just listening to it.

Yeah I did Outbreak Prime because it's essentially the best PvE primary in the game at this moment, but I did one exotic sword quest and said, nope. Never again.

The raid auto rifle is pretty fantastic for PvE as well. Firefly on an auto is cool as hell. The raid scout rifle is a DPS monster. The fusion rifle is great. So far I like all of the raid weapons.

The goddamm pulse rifle is going to wreck. I was lucky enough to get on my first heroic Aksis kill.

What control scheme do you use? I swapped to jumper tonight and did some PvE stuff to test it out. I have been using default since launch, but I like this change. Oh I banged out 8 wins on my final trials card and goosed the 9th game twice. One was a stomp team and the other was a very fishy game with connection issues. It sucked but I ended up getting a t12 chest for 5 wins and the auto rifle for 7 so I was happy.

I just use the default layout because it's what I'm used to.

how the hell did you Titan skate using default. Side note: Having the elite controller is probably the best for skating and twilight garrison

When I run titan/warlock or play trials/elimination/skirmish I play claw. It's been making my hands hurt the past couple weeks and I am skiddish about paying $150 for a controller. I did that once before when i bought a razor onza for 360 which greatly improved my Battlefield game but the sticks had very bad dead zones after 3 months of use.
So I was reading on Crucible Playbook about people using Jumper and Puppeteer with success so I figured I would give it a shot

First crucible game using Jumper. Didn't do to bad. Getting melee down using the thumbsticks is where my biggest problem is.
Oh also got a hopscotch with rangefinder, hand laid stock and third eye from that game. Rip

Buy the elite controller, it makes playing Destiny so much fun. I've abused mine and no dead spots yet after having it for awhile now.
I only use two of the paddles, the left one controls the X button, the right controls the A button and I programmed the right stick click to work the B button.
That means I can run, jump, reload, slide, crouch, open chests, activate, revive teammates and blow the horn all without taking my thumbs off the sticks.
Plus you get three different sized thumb sticks. The medium length domed ones are what I use.
