I have seen a bunch of your trades and felt some were legit. Some were questionable and I voted some down and some I voted yes. These trades can't be allowed though. Guys rated in the 40's A potential or not can't be traded for Ryan Howard.

If it's a user-user trade and the other user is selling bc they aren't winning, I'm fine with that. But this against the CPU just can't happen man. Sorry.

I've voted yes on quite a few and voted no on some

In the spirit of honesty I made a trade a couple of days ago that I'm not sure how y'all feel about. It was good for me though I think

I disagree. Your not looking at overall picture. Howard is 79 and will only go down. He has big salary as well for a 35yo. I gave up two prospect for his use. Next year I have to still pay him big bucks. Howard is a utility player for me.
I think its just that he is a big name. He has power only against righties and no speed and decent fielding. I paid two prospects for one bat and huge cut into my salary for next two years.

Honestly we wouldn't do trades if we didn't feel they were good for us. If they are accepted by CPU logic and then are not vetoed then what can ya do.
If you even traded all your talent for big names you wouldn't be able to keep it all with salaries and your farm team would be screwed. So big picture. A potential can jump up in overall very quickly.

The more I think about it the more I'm ok with it. If we are in this for a few seasons at least then those players will definitely drop

I mean a 41 overall, even with A potential, will take forever to get good. But I don't care that much, because I made trades to get rid of contracts, and get younger. I traded Ryan Zimmerman who was an 88 overall, but had a crazy salary so I had to get rid of him. Werth was the same way, and Strasburg was up at the end of the year and he's gonna be astronomically high so I got rid of him. I don't mind the trades overall, but low 40's for a power hitting lefty is a bit iffy, even if they are "prospects".

Also, I'm leaving to go to Brazil today so I won't be able to play again until like June 29th. Sim if you need to.

One more note, I'm anxious to see what the offseason will look like because there are a lot of contracts up

LSUbutt- I have no problem with not simming as long as you feel you will be able to play catch up rather quickly when you return.

How do y'all feel about setting someone up as a trade advisor of some sort? My vote would be for Hart since he's so active. This guy can watch trades daily and bring any questionable trades to the attention of the league through the thread. That way everyone has a chance to view them and can veto it if they wish. This way no trades would "slip through the cracks."

Instead of a trade advisor, why don't we make it to where we have to submit a trade proposal on here (complete with names, overalls, potentials, contract details).. before submitting it on the console? We would still have to have a way to look at CPU trades as well though. This way we can still have the veto power? I don't log in EVERY day, so I may miss something.

I don't think either would work. I actually have no problem with logic in game. Hey if you get a good deal good for you. That trade Jays made back in real life a few years ago wouldn't fly anywhere. Not even in video game.
Is there anyway to have a trade wait 7 days or 3 days to go through. 24 hours is too short for everyone to view and have input.

I've got 3 in progress games that need a reset:

April 24 vs. San Diego Padres
April 27 vs. Chicago Cubs
April 28 vs. Chicago Cubs

I have a huge problem with trade logic. Mike Trout should be untouchable. The fact that they didn't even want (nor did you give up) Bautista in the deal is completely unrealistic. I'm just joining the franchise so I am trying not to step on any toes and make too many comments/complaints, which is why I haven't been saying much.

It would be cool if you could designate certain players with no trade/drop status.

Bautista is an older player with an overall of 81...Price is 28 with overall of 93 and two prospects with him...plus Trout on contract year.

In real life he is probably untouchable because they willing to sign him to huge deal but it make sense numbers wise to trade 1 superstar for 2 Mlb stars plus prospect could be star.

Just IMO though...remember I am Canadian lol

Done.

I also looked at trades. Can only be done one of two ways. Either I approve or the way it was set up. I changed it to where I approve. If I deem the trade questionable it will be put on hold and put to a league vote. Seems like the best way possible for now.

IMO the season is too short to do this. In seven days you could damn near play a months worth of games if you play every day, what is the point of trading if you have to miss that many games with the players you are trying to acquire.
