Am I the only one who found jumping out of helicopters at the highest possible altitude was more fun than anything else in GTA IV
High as possible, fast as possible, try to jump out over one island and smack the side of a building on another island. Fun. As. shite.

I'm ready for R* to make some sort of announcement for the next installment.
It will either be a new version of Vice City to play around in (I would personally love this) or they will go somewhere over in Europe, IMO.

I will be stoked smoked and stroked regardless. GTA never fails at being fun.

The parachute was the shite. I loved jumping out of the planes and helicopters and hitting the chute when it's time. I missed that in San Andreas. That would have been nuts with the Harrier.
One of us is remembering incorrectly, because I seem to recall jumping out of the Leer and the Harrier in San Andreas all the time and parachuting down to safety. As a matter of fact, wasn't it damn near impossible to pilot the plane in Vice City, at any respectable height anyway?

Vice City was THE BEST! My favorite one in the series. Another one would be fabulous!

You may be right.

Vice City was also my favorite. The game started to get too complicated with GTA:SA and the working out/eating part. This was fixed with GTAIV, which is a close second to Vice City IMO.
All of the "complicated" things adds to the game. The car thefts, hidden packages, photo opportunities and races. You dont have to do them, which is good, but the are there to give you something to do once the main story missions have been completed. I'm a huge fan of the GTA series and I will definitely buy the next installment, especially if its back in Vice City (and hopefully in the 80s as well).
ETA Read thru the thread. The plane was hard to pilot at first, but once you got used to it, it was fun to fly. Planes would definitely be fun now that you dont have to load each time you went to a new island/area. GTA IV had the best map because it looked more like NY than GTAIII did.

The plane in vice city was definitely fun to fly, but I don't care how good you were at it, it was impossible to fly it at any reasonable skydiving altitude.

unless you are OCD like i am
FWIW, i may die trying to complete every single challenge in MW2

The parachute came in on San Andreas. The thing I loved about Vice City were the visuals. I loved the setting and feel to the game. San Andreas was fun with the different cities, but they were a bitch to travel to. The graphics also seemed to take a hit. GTA4 was awesome and free mode was the shite.
Hopefully they tie in some of the old characters on the new one. I want CJ.

I didnt buy the strategy guides for nothing. FWIW, I would complete the main story before opening the guide. Then use the guide to get 100% completion.
I had 100% complete on GTAIII but XGFs little brother erased it. Got back to about 98%
100% on Vice City
95% on GTA:SA
and somewhere in the 80s on GTAIV.
I also try to complete all challenges on CoD until the next game comes out, then on to the new one.

I thought San Andreas was great. Vice city was fun and a great game as well but being a gangster and wrecking havoc was fun as shite

My Favorite thing in vice city was the streekbikes. I use to get one, and go full throttle on the south beach strip and hit that ramp at the end. Boy was that fun.
But my favorite thing ever were the gang wars in SA.

Another great thing about SA was you could lift weights. You turn into a ripped gansta or a fat slob

Or you could just enter the cheat code for hot coffee and bang your G/F...

didn't hot coffee only work on xbox's manufactured before a certain date?
Posted on 1/20/10 at 2:29 pm to MrJeauxns
Hot Coffee I believe only worked for the PC as far as I know. But I could be mistaken. It wasn't really all that big of a deal. I did it once to see what it was all about, then I shot her and drove off in my lowrider.
