Just wasn't feeling it. But I know a lot of people really liked it so that's just me. I did a few dungeons and was done.

IF I wanted to play MM today, what would be the best route to do so outside of buying an N64 and the physical game?

N64 Project emulator on PC
Edt: I use a GameCube controller for N64 games. You can get USB ones off eBay are get the wiiu/switch USB adapter from gamestop, etc.

I was wrong, OoT is the best Zelda game of all time.
OoT was a game changer and still holds up.
You remember the jump from 2D to 3D in Mario 64? This was that but on steroids. It was just a special point in time. The only thing I can compare it to is VR. If you have played Resident Evil 7 on VR all the way through, it's a game changer as well.

No video game has ever made me feel the way Oot did. Only thing that comes close is Castlevania SotN
I really wish they had redesigned the Water Temple in the GC version though. It’s been a while but I don’t remember there being any in-game clues as to when to change the water levels.

Link to the Past is in a tier by itself as the GOAT.

Given that Nintendo's 1st party titles are the thing that everyone signs up for, why does every new Nintendo system not launch with a full Virtual Console shop with ports of their legacy titles?

IGN did a poll awhile back. I saved a screenshot to frick with my buddy who still swears by ALTTP.

The GC version is how I played through it the first time. It was free for preordering Wind Waker at KB Toys. Never really messed around with the Master Quest version though.
