The Mobile Ports of Classic GTA are the best versions

Why won't Rockstar port these titles to PC? The PC versions of GTA 3 and Vice City (less so San Andreas) are the original PC releases from the early 2000s that come with all sorts of quirky issues related to running them via modern hardware.
The mobile ports also look better with higher resolution textures, better shadows, and additional features like save anywhere and mission restart.
I just find the controls to be awful. Driving a car is fine but the shooting is way worse than console (and obviously not in the same league as the free aim centric PC version).

No reason why the proposed updated PC ports couldn't have mods.

Oh, I gotcha. Yeah, remastered version for PC would be awesome. I would definitely buy Vice City again. I still play a graphics modded version of it all the time.

One popular franchise I never got into. Maybe because of PC gaming, but tried picking it up for GTA V. Idk. Rockstar games aren't my games.

I don't play single player games anymore. I just don't seem to be able to get immersed into them anymore, and I blame being an adult for killing all the joy in my life.
However, there are two games I will play: GTA and Splinter Cell
I still haven't bought GTA V and I don't know why.

I am the opposite. I find myself enjoying multiplayer less and less and single player more and more lately

I wish I could. Hell, I rarely play multiplayer games anymore. It kinda sucks not having fun playing games.

I am with you.
I used to spend hours playing H2H in the show and playing Trials in Destiny.
I played Fortnite a good bit, but stopped after season 4.
I’ve been playing Red Dead 2 for like two months now. Tried to start Horizon Zero Dawn but couldn’t get into it unfortunately.

I just don't like GTA games, really Rockstar. They never suck me in. Great games though.

Rockstar is notorious for bad PC ports. I don't remember the last time I played through one of their games without a crash or two.
