I'm getting older, hate diving into media with the ultra violence. It affects my mood, I can get depressed. Then depression for me leads to extreme drug abuse, next thing I know I'm laying in a 36" drainage pipe breaking up a line of dope. Not good.
The refreshing part about playing games like DOOM Eternal, you still get the violence but without the "realism", it is "cartoonish" and "fun".

That movie almost ruined a love of SW.
Good luck I still had Legends/EU stuff, the things I actually enjoy, the weird parts of the SW universe.

It is the same issue with movies.
I like listening to some youtubers Who used to write for the Xbox magazine and they were going through their old game collections to see who had the worst rated game.
They reference that certain games, based on whether they are AAA or otherwise, are systemically given no less than a certain score.
The companies also instruct their writers to give certain games certain scores because access to the gaming companies can be complicated.
Same thing happens with movie reviewers.
There is nothing subjectively real within the “reviewing community”.

Paid might be wrong but you are a clown if you can't see the ridiculous slant on sites like Rotten Tomatoes giving uber positive reviews to absolute shite.
Same shite is happening with video game review sites.
And I am talking about really bad content. I get all of our tastes are subjective but some things should be considered garbage by all and yet if there is a political angle, it become A+ by liberal reviewers.
It isn't as bad in video game reviews but I have seen some recent reviews that show it creeping in.
