I am in a strange way. In Rifton whats his name joins me to go fight in a cave. (I have yet to do his cave quest because it was hard building up levels) I still have Serena because I am gaining levels to beat the vampire. So I am using the Rifton guy do quests from the queen in the blue palace.

Do I get a thane from the blue palace after they praise me and offer me a house? Do I have to get rid of two with me to get one?

I love the cool exit in Rifton in the sewers-- up through a coffin crypt.

i was playing this when COVID started and gave up b/c i couldn't decide what house to buy. i actually accumulated over 100k in gold and had paralysis of analysis and just quit

i hate the Riften sewers. got lost in them once and avoided that rathole city like the plague

you quit way too soon. I also hated the sewers as well; but if you go and do their quests it changes--you get taken to a secret door in the back of the bar. To the right of the church go find a bricked in crypt coffin-- press the button in front of the coffin- and on the way out pull the chain on the right.

you only have to get lost in there finding that man. keep where your goal is in the middle of the top scroll bar.

Okay I took a break and just returned and am stuck I have to go kill a guy but it can't be in the town he is in. And then plant something on him to make it look like he killed the emperor king guy

I have 2 following me and they go kick this guys arse before I can slip in a house and get his note on where he is going next. I guess I have to go back and finish the quest the guy is with me for to kill some evil lady.

Followers are great, till they have the whole towns guard after you, and ur accumulating a bounty of quite the money because of it.

A good follower is the mage in Riften, at the bee and the barb(?)? He's sitting on the bench creeping on lizards. guy can use bows and does god magic damage with fireballs and such.

Thieves guild has been a really fun quest line. I just got the nightingale armor and that might look the most in the game.

I've been playing a battlemage in heavy armor all game but I'm rolling with that right now just because.

I wore the ebony armor in Oblivion and Skyrim up until I did the Dragonborn add-on. The ice armor is badass. Stahlrim, I think it's called. But I wear the Pentus Occulus helmet because it allows you to also wear an enchanted circlet. I didn't care for dragon scale or dragon bone armors but I do carry a dragonbone sword enchanted for chaos damage and absorb stamina.

I'm somewhere in the mid-70s level wise. Finished all the main quest lines but I'll get back on it one day and try to push through to level 80 to face the ebony warrior.
