Those games are fine on PC.. for GTA5 I just had a controller in my lap for driving and used KB/M for everything else. I found RDR2 fine just completely on KB/M after I changed horse steering and camera to 'Horse Relative.'

Yep, I do that for games that require driving, etc.
Even do it for game like FarCry.

Did you play Origins? That one is now one of my all time favorite games, but I'm having a hard time sticking with Odyssey. Running theory is most people love one and are "meh" with the other. I want to love it but, for one, I hate both of those characters, at least compared to Bayek.
I bought Origins on sale a while ago but then was given God of War like a week later so I played through that instead. By the time I finished GoW, Odyssey was on sale and 50-60 hours later here I am.
If Origins is that solid I'll have to give it a go once I finish. Odyssey is my first AC game I've played all the way through, so the fact that I don't have experience with the previous games could be a reason why I like it so much.

I'm playing those on PC so maybe I'll do Red Dead on KB/M. Controller has been fine for me with GTA. Smashing A repeatedly to run is mind numbingly stupid but I'm over it now.

I miss exploring. It is the reason why I love FallOut and then games like FarCry. I'll spend hours within one area reading and rereading every piece of literature.
Saying that, seems like RDR2 might fill this void.

I'm not arguing 1 over the other. I played Origins first and couldn't get enough of it. I like the extra RPG elements to Odyssey, actually getting new gear and the glamour system, but I just haven't clicked with any of the characters.

I forgot to respond to you in the other thread when mentioning unsubing to GB.
The lack of content, and just negative outlook on everything now I can not handle.
I used to enjoy this guy's content too. Maybe it is the way he speaks, in this pretentious cadence, but he makes me want to do physical harm. Might be the way he treated Dan, idk.

He's just gotten worse. Him and Jeff have a shtick that they have to stick to and it's old.
What kind of put me over the top with him was when Bakalar was talking about CES and hosting a show with the Draft Kings people, and how they were excited about the future of industry, and Alex chimes in "you mean they are excited about the money they'll make".
WELL NO shite A COMPANY IS EXCITED ABOUT MAKING MONEY, DUMBASS!!
I started listening to the Gameinformer podcast recently and it's a breath of fresh air. They know their stuff, are funny, and even when they are critical of something they don't have to completely shite on it. Like professionals or something.

How far are you in, or haven't started?
I've just downloaded and fired the game up through the opening cutscene.
Probably about an hour or so. Love it. My problem is I'm ocd about missing stuff so I'm going back over areas multiple times to make sure I didn't

Should I be proud of passing out at the show in 2007, then waking up and thinking Kenny Chesney was on stage?

After the show we then left the arena to smoke, then proceeded to watch Forest Gump on TV with commercials for 3hrs.
One of the girls with us is a DA now. Interesting times.
Edt: Hope the weather works out and doesn't ruin the pregame. Have fun!

I will give it a shot.
At one time I listened to them, but GB used to be so damn good.

I think the show is pretty clean, no cussing and whatnot, so maybe that's a turnoff to some, but just talk about games and act as if you actually like them. All I ask.

Probably play some Kingdom Hearts 3 (finally got around to it and the kids love it). Otherwise might get back to my Death March Witcher 3 replay.

I do enjoy the "email questions" segment on Beastcast. Sometimes, esp with Dan, is my favorite part.

Going to a concert tonight so no gaming, but I plan on getting super stoned and playing a lot of Persona5 Saturday and Sunday.

Edt: I honestly dislike weed, but not as much as I hate alcohol. Also, I would get stuck playing video games stoned. Only thing enjoyable high is eating food.
Give me nearly any other drug but PCP and I'll gobble it up!

I love RDR2 but can’t play it stoned lol. Riding a horse across the map feels like it takes an entire week lmao.

Weed makes you realize TIME is not a constant but only PERCEIVED in relation.
