I'd like to play you outside of this dynasty sometime Brood to see what the deal is. I'm also curious why you play in this dynasty if you beat everyone so badly

Since I've been crushed by him 3 times now, I'll offer some insight. Haha

His RB's always fall forward and break a ton of tackles. His TE is uncoverable. He mixes it up well on offense. He throws safe routes and rarely takes chances downfield. Doesn't have to I guess.

But his defense is what makes the biggest difference. My WR's can't get any separation from his DB's and they jump every route. Unreal. Not even exaggerating. Whenever he feels like it, he can do that little OLB blitz from the right side that he does so muvh in which you have absolutely zero time to get rid of the ball. Combine the quick blitz with the DB's that won't let the WR's even get into their route, and you're screwed. Though I'll admit he didn't blitz but maybe 10 times the whole game. Didn't have to since my WR's couldn't get open! I've had very little success running against him too.

Thought I had a little something I could maybe move the ball with, but he broke my running QB's elbow (out for the season) on like the 5th play I ran with him. Haha

Bottom line: he's good. He knows some secrets as far as the blitz and stuff. Obviously he presses the WRs, but i've never seen coverage like his DB get. And it doesn't help he picked the most loaded team in the game. But I'm not mad. I stopped caring. It's not even competitive. Oh, and he'll keep running the score up the whole time, passing in the 4th when he's up 40! Haha but it's whatever.

Looks like I'm playing for the Rose Bowl now.

If true then you should have put more in the box and bring a safety down and play some press coverage yourself.

Only suggestion on this is to use PA but hot route some extra protection in there. Use some double moves like a sluggo. Also, if you can tell he's going to bring pressure throw some different kinds of screens in there. That'll slow down any pass rush.

I know he said he doesn't cheese, which makes me even more interested to play against him and find out myself.

Ha, I did! I pressed most of the game. Controlled the safety and cheated towards the TE. Still nothing. But my complaints aren't about his offense. I know I'm not very good defensively.

And I can't quote your offensive suggestions for some reason on my phone, but you know what you said. Haha I tried some screens, hot routes, and I hot routed some blockers when I suspected his blitz. Didn't matter much. Nothing worked. And he usually plays cover 3 deep, so even if your WR happens to beat the CB off the line, you have a very narrow window to fit it in. Sounds like with 3 deep and blitzing that plenty of underneath stuff should be open, right? Well that's where the ridiculous man coverage comes in and WR's can't even get off their man. Even slants and hooks that usually work well vs man are blanketed. It is what it is. I'm not nearly the player I used to be back when I played all the time. Haha But it's be nice to go into a game feeling like I have a shot. Oh well, good luck if you play him. Though I'm curious if he'd play the same way in a game that doesn't count. As in not show you too much so you come away thinking "oh he's not so bad."

Let's see him do that with Vandy or Kentucky
