But then you could have one guy in the Pac 10 while 4 or 5 are in the SEC and the guy in the Pac 10 would only play 0 or 1 user games a season and always win the conference while all the SEC people would have to play 3 or 4 and have to fight for a good bowl bid.

Does that seem fair?

if we allow each user to pick any team they want, i doubt any conference will have more than 3 teams picked

SEC - 3, maybe 4

Big 12 - 3

Big 10 - 2

ACC - 2, maybe 3

Pac 10 - 1, maybe 2

then you have Boise St, TCU, and others

i'm just saying would you rather play with North Carolina or USC? just one example of having a team forced on a user

Why can't you do custom conferences? Trux did that last year and it worked fine.

Yes.


As for the custom conferences, that sounds good in theory but that would be a lot of user games and may not be able to get them all in.

Ideally, i think 3 or 4 user games is doable without any long delays.

i still say we let each user pick whatever team they want. i think it will work out fine, but if there is a majority vote for a different solution, then i am okay with that too.
