I have been eyeballing that LSU job for some time now. I like what I have at ND and it's hard to leave. Seems like every time I want to jump on it someone comes and takes them for a few weeks. My biggest problem with LSU is having to play Florida twice a year.

I like being PSU. No competition in the Big 10 at this point. Very surprised no one has snatched up Ohio State and stuck with them.
However, I think playing in a league where there is real competition to win that particularly conference would be fun. Like Texas, or LSU.

I've wanted to grab LSU a couple times as well. Playing UF twice is one thing, but UGA was also a user at one time and 3 in one conference is a lot in this league. I like the Big 12 over the Big 10 because there's the championship game to redeem yourself at the end of the season.

Whichever of you decides to take that LSU team you have some pretty good talent on offense defense seems to lack in some key areas

Well, my offense was as advertised with big play potential all over the field. Sophomore all american QB PJ Jefferson was 8 of 8 for 245 yards and 5 TD's.
I was also pleasantly surprised with my defense. PSU has a star studded offense of it's own, and the fastest arse white QB I've ever seen. PSU moved the ball, but my guys made it difficult. We gave up more points and yards than I would have liked, but they did force 4 turnovers (2 interceptions and 2 fumbles) I should be on my way to regaining that 6th prestige star back.

Morgantown sucks!
WV isn't exactly known for producing a ton of high school talent so I'd imagine it's slim pickings for in state guys. In the 3* it took back to back NC's to really get on the national recruiting scene.Posted on 4/26/09 at 12:58 am to ezride25
Well, I got booted in the 4th quarter. It was 56-28 when I got booted. It really was closer than that though.
1st drive my guy fumbles inside the 20 of UF and it's taken to the house. There was also an INT taken back for a TD. So you take away those 2 and it would be be (probably) 42-35 (assuming I score on one of those 2 drives). I had a couple other turn overs too.
UF's offense is ridiculous. It really pisses me off that one offense can have so many fast players. There is truly no chance of covering them all. The title is UF's to have. But I did notice some of his fast people are seniors so next year someone else may have a chance.

it has to be that i just have slim pickings. I really am trying to open up new pipelines but with all the users around me its getting difficult but I can coach them up no doubt.

Missouri recruiting is much easier without a user controlled OU, but not impossible.

I'm glad i can still bring in talent at the key positions of need but as far as having top classes like some of y'all, my squad will always be middle of the road. I also stopped selecting 35 and just taking around 20 so that i can spend more time with them. Then when i lose a player to someone i pick up one of the shitty ones that come ony our board as a 1

Without being able to keep players, there's not much point to signing 25 anyway unless you are planning on cutting upperclassmen. I've been just sticking with trying for 15-20 players every year.

I go after 5-10 players hard. After that I do a lot of super sim and let the computer fill the rest.
