No. Pressing it just skips the animation. You always get the second dude from the bottom or whatever it is. Which sucks because all the great players are featured at the top.

That's why I just close my eyes and click it. It's as if the game is saying "look at all these great players, wait for it, wait for it...one star middle relief pitcher. Muahahaha."
