Well, you were close to the armoury bonus (2x EXP from FATEs and dungeons). Once you've leveled one class, it's easier to level others to the point of your highest level class. So, it wouldn't be as bad as leveling your Paladin all over.
Also, some of the changes they made to PLD in the expansion are pretty neat, so I'm on the give it another go bandwagon ( although slightly biased).

btw, how are the new skills, and how are the new dungeons? I know xiv will never be xi... but I at least one a little more skill based instances like xi use to have, and not "welp you made one mistake so we have to start all the way over :/"

SWTOR will be releasing a major expansion in October....
Which is why I want to level a smuggler before release and retire my sentinel. I suspect that with the 12x XP, this should take about 3 days.

Some of them are very cool. Each class has a bit more versatility than previously. If you play a Warrior right, you out DPS most DPS.

For skill based instances, some of the coil of bahamut wasn't that difficult. Right when they released, they're difficult but they allow everyone to gear up and get mechanics down. I can think of very few things that meant one mistake = start over. For Heavensward, they have two versions of Alexander. The normal mode is pretty forgiving and you can generally get it cleared with randoms outside of the last turn which takes a bit more coordination.
The newer Savage version of that is pretty tough. No way you could do it outside of a static as of yet.

I personally am also playing this one on a ps4 and have gotten used to the button layout. However you can buy a usb keyboard or a wireless one and use that as well if you are more comfortable with that. after all the game is still designed for PC even though it is compatible with ps4 and others.

I was thinking about going with SW:TOR myself. Get a new character to 60 then park him until Fallen Empire.

Just wanted to give anyone thinking of trying SWTOR out a heads up...there are achievements in game that award cartel coins. For example, completing the class missions on the starter planet awards you 20 cartel coins.
Here is a list of in-game achievements that award cartel coins...
Constant Warfare
The armor on the jedi knight in this pic I posted before...
...is called valiant jedi...
Valiant Jedi Armor set – 1440 Cartel Coins
Dulfy
You can have up to 22 characters per server. If you get busy, you can earn enough CC in-game to buy cool stuff from the cartel market. And since SWTOR has Outfit Designer, you can wear custom armor in the outfit manager and have that show, and wear any old mission reward..and always look good.
Safe travels!

When you first open up your character panel after 3.2, you will see a bunch of outfit tabs on the right side of your screen. Each tab can be used to save a selection of armor for appearance purpose only. The very top tab is for your gear that modify your stats. What this means is that you can now change appearance without having to swap out gear and augments! The outfit’s tab appearance will replace your gear appearance without modifying your stats.
From now on, you place the items you like the stats into the gear tab, which will function same as before. However, if you desire an alternative appearance, you can place armor pieces into the outfit tab, which will not alter your stats but your appearance.
Safe travels!

So the Cartel coins is essentially in game currency?
Posted on 7/31/15 at 9:26 am to Mr Gardoki
Correct. You can buy CC with a credit card or pay pal, as well as earn it in game.
SWTOR
Whats more, if you sign up for a free Security Key app for your smart phone, you get 100 free CC per month. Subscribers also get an additional 500 CC on top of that.

One of the first things you should get is the +41 crystals for your weapon. You can buy from the Cartel Store or from the GTN (SWTOR's Auction House). That will give your level ten character an end game level crystal.
Also at level ten, and I can't stress this enough, you can buy a Mercenary Contract and get an ewok companion: Treek
Treek has an ability called Boom Thuk..it's basically a grenade that will take a group of mobs down to half health. Throw an aoe ability of your own on top of that, and it's game over. You can switch Treek between tanking and healing modes...and you can do that mid-fight if you wish.
Get Treek and you will fly through the game. Best money you can spend in SWTOR.

Our first new Companion Character since HK-51, Treek, arrives with Game Update 2.3: Titans of Industry. This mysterious alien mercenary is available for all character classes, and can be earned in-game or purchased directly from the Cartel Market. To help clarify these different options, here is an explanation of the different means to acquire Treek.

I can see how you would think that. But it's not really the case. You don't need Treek, you can level through the game with any companion. Some are better suited than other due to their roles...a healing companion works best for tanking characters and most melee dps, for example.
Treek just makes the game more enjoyable, and a lot less tedious IMHO.
