Plus there is a confirmed 5 DLC characters as well which will all be released within a year of it's release.
The game has been confirmed to have been a tweaked port of the Wii-U version of the game: LINK
The rumors out these is that there will be 8 entirely new characters (I don't think Daisy counts) which means we have 6 more to go. There are so-called "leaks" that suggest that Simon Belmont will be playable. Also rumors of a Minecraft stage: LINK

Lol Sakurai watched I think MKLeo take Plup’s Ridley to town with a Bayonetta chain combo. He said to everyone he saw several bugs watching the show so, it’s almost for sure she’s gonna get severely nerfed

Just letting you people on the later pages know before it gets out of hand, the January leak that supposedly predicted every fighter as well as the game name and other stuff up to this point is fake and has proof. Th domain was handed out by NameCheap Inc. and created about 3 days. The dates were altered and the website was archived.
Just getting that out of the way. I think Banjo and Kazooie are on their way but the others not so much.

This would be more shocking than Simon was honestly. 1) They aren't relevant 2) The N64 was still a relatively unsuccessful console, and that game specifically had a small Nintendo audience.

Banjo’s audience is huge and I guarantee the internet has reflected that. While I wouldn’t be surprised at them NOT being included, I wouldn’t say it would be really surprising that they’re included.
