Just picked one of these up for $25. Figured with all the extra (and handy) customizable keys I could use the left side to put in some great things for my flight sims.

Now that I have it, I am having a "WTF am I going to do with all these frickin buttons?" type of moment. The keyboard's software uses "mods" or profiles for specific games. Problem is that they are all FPS, Action and MMO games.

Does anyone have one of these? Are there sites where you can download mods that users have created? I have not found shite.

Luckily its on sale again. They take a bit to ship, but finally got mine. Much different than my other keyboard, but I will get used to it. You can change the backlighting and all.

I am pretty sure the keypad to the left is just repositioning and replicating the normal buttons in a more ergonomic way. At least that is why I got it. But who knows, maybe it can be used that way.

It's a left vs right hand thing.

I have had one since 09, pretty nice the zmod software is not bad, but it can get cumbersome.I am lazy and use the default profile. But you can create macros and completely reprogram the handpad, although it takes a lil time to do it.

Totally understand the great part about mechanical but I really wanted something that was non traditional that could give most buttons I want within a fingers length. Most airplanes have many controls this way and I wanted to have this for that reason although it was very nice when i popped in an fps.

Keyboard macros are more of a pain in fps IMO

Would only use macros for flight sim stuff. Don't see any use in fps. I was meaning the keypad on the left felt good with the large movement keys.
