Once you find a good horse ( either by taming a wild one or buying one ) don't frick around and get it killed.

I lost my first and only horse thus far back in chapter 5 because I had to ride a train and he followed me for some reason and ran into it and I couldn’t revive her.

I was so butthurt.

I have two. I didn’t sell the first one when it gave you the option to, but I still want to get that Arabian.

What are you wanting to sell?

If it’s valuables I would hold onto them if you’re still somewhat early, mid-way. You will need some jewelry for crafting later on if you want the talismans.

I didn’t sell a single gold bar until I got to the epilogue.

If it’s belt buckles (Any tier) and silver rings then you can sell them to the Fence without worry. IIRC, the jewelry pieces needed to craft are a Gold jointed bracelet, silver chain bracelet, silver earring, gold earring.

You can sell skins from different animals to Trappers. You'll get more money for legendary and perfect skins but he'll buy any type of skin. There's five trappers you can go to...

- St Denis
- Annesburg
- Riggs Station
- Big Valley (West Elizabeth)
- Tall Trees

Did anyone go for 100% completion? I think I am in the 80% or 90%.

I know the outstanding items I dread would be the cigarette cards and dino bones.

I started collecting the cards, but didn't finish. Too tedious. Done all the dino bones though.

Dino bones took me maybe an hour and a half and that was me riding, not using cinematic mode.

Cigarette cards I have t focused on at all.

I believe I’m at 84% right now or something like that.

Explain the Fence?

He is like a shop where you sell ‘valuables’. I believe the fence is the only place you can sell gold bars to.

He also is the one where you get your talisman’s and trinkets from. You get most of the materials for these from killing the legendary animals.

You’ll actually meet Seamus during the mission, “The Spines of America”, in Emerald Ranch. After the mission you can sell belt buckels, jewery, gold nuggets/ bars and other stuff to him. You can also steal wagons for him, try to bring him stage coaches you’ll get more money for them.
