frick. I picked Verso in the end.
Did I pick right?
Picking Maelle felt wrong. Seemed to selfish.
I feel judged as frick by Sciel and Lune.
It was what I was expecting, but leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

You chose the truth. (red pill) You could of picked Maeele (blue pill) and stayed in Wonderland. But now you get to see what the real world looks like. You see the painters took out the sun in the real world and are using paintings for chroma (batteries). You were the battery. Now the writers are holding up in the last non painters town in the world. They call it Peon. This war has been going on for generations. It is time to save the world form the painters and allow the writers to write the world as it should. Are you in?

I also picked Maell. Only because here and Lune were the two who never left my party. Even though I don't agree with it they were my main characters and it what they would have chosen obviously.

Everyone else accepted it and faded away.
Sciel seemed to forgive him.
Lune refused to. Wouldn’t give him the satisfaction.
Outside of Verso, she is probably my favorite character.
Every character was so well-written. Each broken in their own way.

Why didn't Maelle re-paint Gustave?
She writes in his journal, but doesn't bring him back?

Before running from Renoir, Maelle pulls in chroma and says something like "I can feel them". That was Lune and Sciel's chroma. She doesn't have Gustave's there, and I presume his would fall into the same issue as the previous members of Maelle's solo leveling army where it was too degraded to be the same at this point.

Gustave is back and he gets to grow old with Sophie. Sciel gets to grow old with Pierre, Maelle has BOTH eyes and can speak and has Gustave and Sophie as her guardians, and the people of Lumiere are alive! Who cares if "fake" Verso is miserable in the canvas. He was a lying POS anyway who let Gustave die.

Also, who is Verso talking about to Sciel about wanting to see at the camp?
There were illuminated spots on the map for Maelle, Lune and Monoco's side quests, but I don't see one for Sciel.

There's no quest for her but man is her story tragic (I mean, all the stories are, but hers...damn).

One journal is next to a collapsed tent and one is a little further down the path. The location is in the overworld, west of the Forgotten Battlefield.
