It's a bitch playing N64 games on any other controller or even the keyboard.

Yes. I've downloaded emulators for NES and SuperNES. It's a download straight to your PC, like having the old console built in to your machine. Never done the N64, but the older consoles come out pretty good. Just get a control pad, since using the keyboard kinda sucks. Google "ROMS".

texastigah:
pretty much all this.
you can just google "n64 emulator". pick an emulator, then google "n64 roms".
download whatever games you want (goldeneye = still
ing hard!)
its all pretty self explanitory. definitly going to want a game pad for n64 snes or sega. nes games you can play on a keyboard ok...
anyone on the mw2 board, whoops i meant "gaming board" should be able to help if you've got any questions.

I'll have to check into this....I'd love to play Zelda, MarioKart, and Goldeneye again.
Thanks for the info.

There was a guy's list somewhere talking about the 10 most annoying video game characters. Navi was #2 behind the dog from Duck Hunt.

Zelda OoT is the greatest game I have ever played. I doubt I will ever see it topped in my lifetime, and I have played a shite ton of games.
Since we're talking about sections, I think all the stuff surrounding the Spirit Temple is my favorite in the game. It was sweet escaping from that prison and then doing the ST as a kid and as an adult.
Oh, and I loved fishing in that game. fricking AWESOME.

The water temple was by far the hardest temple in the game to figure out. I remember doing it without a guide and it took a long time. I liked it overall, I think I was most annoyed by having to switch out boots constantly.

I agree with what you said. I have never enjoyed a game more or been more involved in another game. shite was addicting.

My favorite dungeons will always be the Fire Temple and Spirit Temple.

I'm going to search for a used N64 after my classes today. I'm determined to play this game again. MW2 might have to be on the backburner for a while. I know zelda will take me a long time and I will probably need a walkthrough for a few parts.

Anyone ever find all 100 gold skulltulas? I could always get 99 but never find that last one. shite now I have to break out the old N64 and play this.
Some one refresh my memory, which one was the Spirit Temple?

Spirit was the last temple in the game before you go to the final boss in Hyrule Castle. It's the one in the desert.
Luckily I still have my N64, and super nintendo, and NES, I don't think I could ever get rid of them.

I think my 64 is at my moms house somewhere. During katrina I bought the Legend of Zelda collectors edition for the Gamecube which has Zelda, Zelda 2, Ocarina of Time, and Majoras Mask. I wonder what will work better, playing the disc that was made for the gamecube or downloading the game on the virtual console.

I love the nostalgia I caused with this thread.

I always liked the forest temple. Liked beating the shite out of those annoying witches.
