I don't get why these threads always turn into a "roms are free thread, make a pi." discussion.

I mean, I can download all my music and movies for free too if I wanted to but I still pay for them.

Because it is easier and simpler than pirating movies and music.

Too expensive, just buy it all separate. Get the case for $10-$15 on Amazon Etsy or eBay.

if you wanted the games on your tv, would installing emulators on a fire tv be your best option?

I don't own a fire, so I don't know how well they work. I'm a raspberry pi nut, so I have a ton of them laying around the house.

Sorry to ask a noob question... But can you give me a site or tutorial on how to do that? Maybe a list of supplies needed. I'd love to have a library of games like you mentioned

You can also use a smart phone if you want a portable version for most 8 bit and 16 bit systems. I have an old Galaxy S3 that I just use for emulation. Most emulation software is available in app stores and roms are available at emuparadise.org. Couple it with a MOGA controller and you are good to go.

tbh, Same here. CT is my favorite all-time game and it's a crime it's not on here. FFVI is a close second for me but both would have been tits.

I think I may dust off the old Retro Pi.

Any suggestions on SNES games I should play?
