I'm thinking of doing another Oblivion play thanks to this thread it's been years.

Which came first, Oblivion or Morrowind? I remember my brother playing Morrowind on the orginal xbox and being intrigued, but never touching it.

So many games have spoiled us with the "bread crumb" trail to lead to quest spots, it's tough to go back to an old rpg that requires reading, talking to npcs, using a map, remembering, and thinking.

Yeah. You're just about on your own in the old Zelda games.
Now a days, you can just google and watch walkthroughs. Kids today will never know the struggle of playing Zelda nonstop for weeks, getting frustrated and not playing for a week... Then you come back and have absolutely no clue where you left off
But that was the fun in the games. You HAD to be interested and you had to think constantly and figure things out.

I have sunk quite a few hours into Skyrim. I'm not trying to say the game is BAD. I'm just pointing out a downward trend in the parts of their games that I enjoy the most.
I have played modded Skyrim so much that a remaster doesn't do very much for me. If you played on console though, I can get it.
I'm more just acting a bit fussy because this would be a perfect time to remaster one of their beloved older TES games and get a ton of sales. A graphically updated Morrowind with a better journal would probably sell like gang busters on all three platforms. Their are missing efforts out there to turn Skyrim into Morrowind people are so thirsty to see that game in a modern setting.
