I put over 200 hours in both Oblivion and Skyrim, guilds were much better in Oblivion. I want to play Skyrim again but the first couple of hours bore me now, but I know how awesome the game was after that. I could play Oblivion again today.

I have a love/hate relationship with Morrowind's journal system and lack of a "go this way for quest" compass.

If you get the DLC, one of them added a journal index which improves the journal tremendously. As for the latter complaint, I actually prefer the lack of compass (within the paradigm of the game then giving you enough information to find shite), but to each his own.
