Really though, you bought an iMac to play d3? I do find that pretty funny. 
Are you going to get any of the art programs for apple? I know you said you do like welding or something? So I guess getting a computer with the best art programs makes sense.

I honestly bought one because I've wanted on for awhile. D3 was just a coincidence. I played it on my crappy laptop for a week at 13 fps. I needed an upgrade and decided to go ahead and get the imac. And i use autocad alot. Need to find a mac version asap.

autocad for mac is a port.. and a crappy one at that.
I can understand wanting a mac, but at the end of the day, unless you have a reason for one, I wouldn't recommend it. Also, the whole "it works as good the day you buy it as the day you finally throw it away" is a complete lie. I have had to reformat my macs just as much as my windows computers.
ETA: that being said - I love my macs, and grats.

Apple isn't my deal but that doesn't go for everyone. I just think they are WAY overpriced for what you get, I like the design but your better off spending half of what a Mac costs and getting a better PC (Unless your a Art major or a music producer).

I am, and I'm glad I have it, but I will be the first to admit that they are overpriced and really only used for a few things. They are good at them, but a very specialized computer.
