They allegedly have been buying up a bunch of vintage stuff (sometimes if I’m looking for something online it pops up on Gamestop’s website) but the margins on most inventory is usually super thin for physical stores. My local vintage gaming store has a shite ton of events, has a big arcade, sells a decent amount of bullshite accessories, and sometimes hosts tabletop stuff or parties. They have to constantly do all of that to keep people coming in the door and spending more than they would on ebay. It’s gonna be really hard for Gamestop to elbow their way into that space as a big, soulless corporate entity that is already despised for running most local stores out of business.

Mine just sells Vapes now.
