Ready to step my gaming up a bit...Recommend a monitor

I play on XB1 and a 50" TV. I played on a friends 27" TV the other day and it was glorious, but he paid out the arse for it. What's a good reasonably priced/sized TV/Monitor for gaming?

This is several layers of confusing.

Anyway, first and most important question: are you playing competitive online games like FPS?

any cheap monitor with low response time will do for you. 1ms or 2ms is what you should look for.

Don't waste your time paying for a high refresh rate monitor

Yes. Fortnite, PUBG, and COD at times
