I like being able to check reviews. I'm intelligent enough to separate the junk from the legitimate. I like not having to worry about backing up game saves if I uninstall a game. I also really like being able to refund virtually any game after two hours play. I also have around 400 some odd games in my Steam library many of which are in the same series of games that are now exclusive to the Epic store.

Bethesda probably did this because Fallout 76's launch was a disaster and didn't really do anything to promote Bethesda's own digital distribution platform. A lot of the frustration would have been mitigated if players could've just requested refunds via Steam.
