Woke up this morning to an email from gamestop in my inbox with "your order has changed" in the subject line. Was about to spin myself into a whole new dimension of pissed off if they had canceled it. Turns out they listed the bundle I bought for the wrong price and where letting me know they were knocking off $30. Crisis averted

yep, the whole procedure is a weird, trippy experience. i remember feeling like i was inside a kaleidoscope once the laser hit. so many crazy colors and shapes

dude yes, i remember on the ride home thinking "man i dont feel anything at all, this is too easy." then about 10 minutes later that burning came and just escalated and escalated. by the time I got in my house and laid in bed, I was thinking "there is no mfn way I can fall asleep with this burning." but sure enough, I did.

yeah it'll take you a little longer to get back to 100% but should still be relatively quick. if you avoid the dry bug, you're golden. i got a little lazy with the drops and fish oil and dried out after a few weeks, but got back on and everything was fine. you have plenty of follow-ups to express any concerns that might pop up. glad everything went well
how about those Durezol drops?

They haven't billed me either, it says on the website that they'll bill you a week before the item ships. The fact that you haven't gotten your confirmation e-mail is strange though, it only took a couple of hours for mine to arrive in my inbox. Did you save your order number from after you checked out? If so you should be fine and you should be able to go to the gamestop website and put in the order number to check the status of your order.

Yeah, I didn't expect to be a little hopped up due to the Valium, lol. They told me it was going to be a lightshow. Maybe it was because my vision was worse, but I really could only see one light.
Unless it was just the laser I think I could smell my eyeball after, lol. quote:

My eyes were watering so bad, it was all over the goggles they give you. I took some tylenol PM about 15 minutes before I got home and fell asleep almost instantly.

Yeah, thankfully I've stayed on top of taking the fish oil and doing all of my drops. My left eye is lagging behind my right in terms of clarity, but apparently it's normal. Both the steroid and antibiotic usually make my eyes feel better. Except last night I forgot to shake the steroid drops before using them and burned the frick out of my eyes.
I'm paranoid as frick about touching my eyes at all. While prepping me, one of her assistants told me they had a patient rub his eyes 6 months later and fricked his flap up.

i was gentle with the eye rubbing for about a year. as in, I'd take just a finger tip and slightly massage wherever it itched
now i just rub like normal and I'm good. don't sweat it too bad

That's what I've done so far if the corner of my eye or just above/below has itched. It'll be nice once everything heals, but I'm already glad I did it. Even though I wore contacts it still feels different not having anything.

I've seen numerous people around the internet saying they got the same thing. Starting to be glad I snagged one from Walmart instead.
