Ps4 gaming headset recommendations

Anyone have any recommendations for a headset for PS4 that would plug into the dualshock4 controller. I have always had a headset that went optic to ps4 and a amp to headset. Looking for something more simple? Would the quality of sound be far less than what i was already using? Also what set would you recommend if you think plugging right into the controller would be ok.

I use the Turtle Beach Stealth 600. They sound great.

Hyper X Cloud Revolver S. You can plug into the USB and take advantage of the inline Dolby Digital and volume control dongle or just plug into the controller for stereo. Ive had Tritton Ax Pro's and several models of Turtle Beaches and these blow them all away on sound quality.

God I bought a pair about a month ago and played one game . Couldn’t hear shite
carried back and ordered golds . GameStop worker said they were crap too. Guess I just got a bad pair

PlayStation Golds with virtual 7.1 surround are really good. And the surround works well.
