Spawns and lag are the two most frustrating issues. But that's typical cod at release.

The gun delay could be a number of things, but signs point to lag compensation. I think the detection is better than it has been. I find myself loosing gun battles where I don't shoot straight. I can see my bullets hitting of to the side.
QoS (Quality of Service) could be an issue on the internet side that would cause some slight delays. Unfortunately, there is not a whole lot end user can do about it. This is probably not your problem.
More than likely, its a COD issues with the compensation.
As for you, Black, your HDMI distance won't be your problem. However, if you have a TV that does some processing to the picture, you could be having some slight delays with your TV doing processing while you are trying to shoot terrorists. If your TV has a "gaming" mode, use that. It minimizes the processing that the TV has to do before you "see" the picture.

I'll have to check if it has a gaming mode, but i'm not sure. I know my surround sound receiver has it, but i'm bypassing and going straight to the TV. Figured that's better than going through receiver then to TV

Most receivers do HDMI pass thru, so there is no processing on it. I go through a receiver, but I also turned off all of the motion flow, edge smoothing and any number of things to my picture.
Checking my AW app, I have exactly 614 kills and 614 deaths. 1.00 like a boss.
