Tiger doesn't bother me, that he has a lot of fans doesn't bother me, but the 11 people saying the same thing in the thread annoys me. It's the Tiger overkill that I can't stand.

They aren't trying to repeat each other. They are all trying to be the first to say it.
My suggestion would be to avoid the thread when he is playing, because it has pretty much always been that way.

ETA: I guess it's like the way I hate sniping in video games. I just wish there would be a sniper free Battlefield, but it's everywhere. I guess Tiger coverage is my sniping.

Yeah, it's like they are all trying to do it at once and it ends up being about a page of redundancy. It's the same in the Cubs game threads...whenever there's a run, there is always about half a page of "Rizzo!!!!"...

He hit a pretty great shot right after I posted that so I knew you'd say that, but if you act like other golfers are being ignored, then it's because you are too focused on tiger
