I tried watching it one night a while back after doing some drinking, and I bout lost interest when the Tin Man and the garbage can were walking around in the desert.

Didn't take long

I grew up on those movies (my first theater memory is Return of the Jedi), but I honestly haven't watched any of them in years. A big reason is Lucas' stupid tinkering arse pretty much ruined them and it's near impossible to find the original versions.

I won't even discuss the prequels.

I don't know much about Star Wars, but I know that people aren't too happy with Lucas and the prequels. Have you heard Patton Oswalt's material on talking to George Lucas? It's GOLD.

No I haven't. But the general feel from the fans is "these movies don't belong to you anymore, quit screwing with them". The old ones were obviously dated because of the technology, but using models and puppets worked because it looked genuine. Once he discovered CGI, he used nothing but that in his new ones and went back over the old ones with some really retarded tweaks.

Who is Bo Burnham, bro?

Also, I'm thinking of doing some cable provider reducing. I have been thinking about cutting my HD service to a minimum, cutting out NFL Network and MLB Network and some extra stuff and then just buying MLB.TV for the year and getting a Netflix account.

Thoughts? Also, school me on Netflix. How soon are new episodes in their library? Like, could I see the first season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine right nah if I wanted?

I'm not tied to that or anything, I was just wondering overall how quickly they get new episodes of the most current season.
