FYI, if you're an engineer with a repair tool. Don't be the fricking tank driver. Let someone else rain hell down while you fix the tank and THEN get back in. frick. My .50 cal does nothing against that tank we are battling.

I usually stay in and battle. A few occasions I'll get out and repair but only after I've won the battle

If the tank is about to blow up, I will hop out, go prone behind it, and repair my balls off. I refuse to lose a tank battle because I won't get out in the heat of battle.

I understand that and that's what I do. But I'm not going to lose the main cannon during a battle because that other tank is still shooting. I let the driver handle business while I repair. Hell, I'll follow a tank and keep repairing it if the driver stays close. I've had my tool get tired before and I had to wait.
