Airplanes are useless unless you are shooting down another plane. You flyby way too fast to find anything or anyone to kill.

We need to get a good chopper and gunner thing going. Hoofin' it to obj's is okay, but sometimes air support is good.

i tend to agree
there are no missles, so it's not like you can take out a tank or humvee with a lock and you'll only fly by trying to use guns

Spotting is helpul. If you have a dude or plane or tank in your crosshairs, press Select to put a red dot over their head. Everyone can see it and it gives away a position.
Yesterday I spawned at a base and had to hoof it to a cliff. I was able to overwatch the mcom's for enemies gathering in groups and used the spotting to show the team where the bad guys were. Spot bonus and attack order followed FTW.

Is there anyway to lock your altitude level in the choppers or do you just have o continuously throttle on and off?

I suck at this game so far.
Can't shoot shite, and I don't see half the people who shoot me.
I also still have the old complaint that I put a few bullets into someone with hit markers and they still kill me somehow. Drives me nuts.
anytime I get in a jet there is some douchebag piloting one already who kills me.
Only thing I'm good at is operating tanks, killing tanks, and winning, I might have a terrible k/d, but I win.

if you hold the L2 & R2 buttons at the same time, you'll hover being that one is to rise and one is to descend

i lowered sensitivity because i couldnt hit shite
also, i turned up the brightness to almost the max when i first put in the game

Man I got sick of not being able to whip my gun around in time with stock sensitivity.
Got a Holo site, turned up sensitivity, game is like 10x more fun for me.
