I finished it as a NCR bitch. I took out the Legion and that boss dude was fricking legit. Almost broke a controller. Now I want to murder dragons and skip merrily through an enchanted forest.

Just load a save file before you actually finished the game and go on from there. I know with Skyrim, after you beat it, you can just go on after the credits. I don't think Fallout does that.

It's been a while since I played the game. Most games are like that anyways. You beat it, but if you load it again, you end up on your last save.
I did one of the DLC's, which allowed you to continue on after the credits normally rolled.
