Any recommendations on a new vita game? I have everything psplus has offered as well as persona and guacamelee. Bought MLB 13: the show, but I'm really not a baseball fan and didn't enjoy it at all. I'm thinking about virtua tennis 4 as well but no local gamestops have it. Any help is appreciated

I'm playing Earth Defense Force right now and it's pretty good. Rayman Orgins is a good one if that isn't on Plus.

Loved guacamelee and persona. Uncharted was good fun. Enjoyed wipeout as well, but got burnt out on trophy hunting that game. Gravity Rush was alright. And call of duty came with it, but it was pretty much shite.

I've thought about those games, but I don't care for assassins creed games. Soul Sacrifice is something that has piqued my interest. However, I'd like to try the demo first since I'm not a big action RPG guy.
I almost never finished guacamelee. I couldn't get one of the jumping puzzles and pretty much rage quit for a while. Finally came back to it about a week or two ago.

Have you played any hunting games before? (Monster Hunter, Gods Eater, Phantasy Star Portable, Ragnarok Odyssey, etc.)

Actually no. Pokemon is the extent of my hunting game experience. I'm not closed to the genre though. Wouldn't mind trying it out.

A few (Soul Sacrifice, Ragnarok Odyssey) and even more to come.
Soul Sacrifice isn't much like a typical hunting game. It has a ton of lore and story and is less "go kill these monsters/get enough of this herb". There is a demo that you can play if you'd like. I'd use it just to see if you can stand that type of gameplay system.

I was going to play the demo. Don't have enough room on my memory card right now though. Will have to delete something when I have the chance.
I only have a 4 GB. Really hope they announce a price drop on those things tomorrow.

How was Ragnarok Odyssey? Metacritic didn't have a great score, but it looked really cool.

When do you think Sony or Nintendo will come out with a handheld with phone capabilities? If Sony made a vita that was also a phone I think sales would explode. It would be a machine that people would have on them at all times which is what Sony and Nintendo are striving for in the first place.

Update on game I'm purchasing: Getting a 16 GB memory card and then about $50 in psn games. PS All Stars, Sound shapes, AC: Liberation, Unfinished Swan, Flying Hamster HD (had the mini, its fantastic), and Metal Gear Solid psone. Then in about a week or two will pick up MGS HD collection.

I liked it. It wasn't fantastic, but it had solid gameplay, different classes that played very differently, and a ton of content to go through online and offline. If you like action RPGs or games like Monster Hunter, then I think you'd like it.

have there been any deals at all for the Sony memory sticks? I would love to add more games to my Vita so that I may actually start playing it more often, but I don't have the space to put the games i get for free on the card (8 GB card)..
the only problem is i've never seen a 3rd party come out with a Vita compatible memory stick, so I am stuck paying for the name of the memory stick and forking out $100 for a 32 GB card which is absolutely insane.

There are usually periodic sales on them somewhere online. You can usually find a 32GB for $70-80.
