Pokemon Sun and Moon Discussion Thread (Questions in OP)

Seventh Gen. Revealed
Keep in mind these are official trademarks that have been filed, so it's no elaborate hoax.
What do we want in these games?
1. Battle Frontier was not present in the Pokemon 3rd Generation remakes. This, to me, is an absolute must given that provides so much replay value outside of level grinding and completing the pokedex.
2. Make the Elite 4 harder. Remember back in the days of Red/Gold when you got to Lance and just wanted to kill yourself because of his Dragonite hoard? I think the E4 should average level 60-70 or higher THE FIRST TRY. Not the rematches when they actually implement that.
3. Go back to the roots of the franchise and don't focus so much on legendaries. I feel that all the Pokemon company's efforts lately has been put in to creating the most OP and cool looking legendaries and basing the games off of them, which was not the theme of the first two generations.
4. USE AN ORCHESTRA LIKE THEY DID IN ORAS. Those remixes were beautiful.
5. Lastly, create more tension between the main rivals. I feel that after generation one, the rivalry just lost all its flare.
So what do you think?

The Pokémon video game series is turning 20 this week, and Nintendo is determined to mark the occasion with a bang. It's hosting a Pokémon Direct on February 26th where it will be "celebrating" the anniversary... and, presumably, announcing some new games. The company isn't saying anything about what's coming, but Nerdleaks has unearthed recently-filed trademarks for both Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon -- it doesn't take much to connect the dots and realize that these are the games Nintendo is most likely to show during its live stream. We wouldn't rule out some surprises, but it sounds like you'll once again have a reason to catch Pikachu and crew.

2016 will be a great year.
I can euthanize puppies during the week and play Pokemon on weekends.

Hey everyone! Thanks for watching this series. I'm jumping back into animation land for a while making new episodes of 'BFFs' . However, I plan to keep making new 'Rage Cop' episodes with the help of Anthony. Again, thank you guys for watching the show. :) -Appsro?

I haven't played a Pokemon game after Black and White. Is it honestly worth it to spend all the money to get them and a 3DS?

The 3DS has a larger and better library than both the PS4 and XBONE. Besides Black and White wasn't too great but XY brought the game back in a good direction. I'm hoping 7th gen will be closer to Gen 1 and 2 games also.

Pokemon and the two Fire Emblem games are worth getting a 3DS for.

Not to mention to limited edition bundles with Pokemon and fire emblem. It really is totally worth it. 3DS is an awesome system.

The 3DS and Wii U are both better systems than the main stream consoles. They just lack those very very few AAA titles which keep them down.

Is it going to come out on the wiiu?

The original 3 (Red, Blue, Yellow) will be available on the Wii U virtual console. However, Pokemon S&M will be new 3DS exclusive titles like all the others.

Yellow lol
Picachu always took up a spot on your roster. Really annoying you couldn't use your 6th spot effectively.

Why? TBH the slow turn base style would be too slow for me to put on Wii U. The game works perfect in the handheld format.

You didnt have to have pikachu on your team, you could just box the little bastard after you got him. The only thing you couldnt do with him was evolve him.
