I finished the original game a few weeks ago and can’t imagine playing through it again, despite how much I enjoyed it.

I mean the main changes are a couple new characters and new semester, right? Can’t imagine it would be worth the money.

Right. If it was DLC for $15-20 I would probably pick it up. Not worth it to pay $60

I understand your point of view, but the amount of added content is much more to play than several full priced games that are coming out.

While I agree it should be DLC in this day and age of games, they've done this for the series for decades now.

Like the game but it is too long for another play through and paying full price for DLC isn't something I am interested in doing.

Playing through an NG+ isn’t bad because you don’t have to go through the ancillary stuff to build social stats.

Starting over from scratch is definitely too long.

Took me about 90 hours to complete, but I usually try to be thorough.

I did not know this. I may play again. I was at like 140+ hours on my first completion. As much as I'd love to start fresh, just have to much backlogged already.

May pick up on sale down the road like I did the base game.

Yea, you start with a lot of items, all of the Persona compendium that you have completed with all info gained, all your social stats at whatever level you finished at, and a bonus from any of your confidants that you max ranked.

For example, I maxed Kawakami so I had the ability to obtain a massage from the moment she became available in NG+.

It took me about 95 hours to finish on my first run - but I didn't max everyone out. I started a NG+ but after hearing about P5:Royal I decided to stop that and just wait. There have already been changes within the intro but that's about all I've had time to play so far. This is probably my favorite PS4 game so I can't wait to dive back in and play some more to see all of the changes.
