would like to have at least a 256GB
I get spoiled by the space available.
First SSD I had was a 64GB (back when they were expensive). Boot drive with a few core programs like Adobe Master Collection. Filled up quickly, wanted a 128GB. Got one, then after 6-9 months, I was about 11gb away from filling it up with programs and games (not just clutter either, stuff I actually use).
So I got a 256gb. Had it for a year, and I'm about 35gb away from full. Based on that trend, I think a 500gb would be a long-lasting upgrade for me.
Funny thing is that because of the massive price drops since 2011, I paid about the same price for each SSD.

You trying to sell it as whole or individual?
Posted on 6/12/13 at 2:54 pm to Mr Gardoki
I'm trying as a whole first

Let me know if your interested in selling individually, I may bite on something.

If j murdah isn't interested in them then I will definitely be parting

When would you need to sell by?
Posted on 6/12/13 at 7:00 pm to Mr Gardoki
No time table. I don't have to sell anything, but I figured I try it out
Posted on 6/12/13 at 7:03 pm to bluebarracuda
Don't you need to sell before your possible trip?
Posted on 6/12/13 at 7:06 pm to Mr Gardoki
I probably won't go if I don't sell it. Its not a planned trip or anything, I'm going to leave whenever I get enough money

I should be in town first half of next month so if we do business it will probably be then

The paste that was used on the delidded 4770k (in the video a few pages back) is intriguing. Looks very watery.
Yeah apparently you really don't want to use it as a standard paste in between the lid and heat sink. I was going to buy it but then I read in OCN that it eats into aluminum and its a terrible pain in the arse to try and get off.

Do any of you PCers have experience with the network adapters that you plug into an outlet so that you can use wired internet in other rooms? My room has no ethernet ports so I'd have to use one on my PC and I'd like to know what's the best option.

Like a range extender?

Not sure what it's called. Something like this: LINK

I knew it was the power line before I even clicked on it. From what I have read, user experiences vary greatly. Seemingly it really depends on how old the wiring in your house is. If its old apparently static interference is the real problem with it and its yielded some pretty piss poor results. If its a newer house then your internet isn't going to be as fast as it could be but it will get you by. I wouldn't rely on it for streaming or gaming either way.
If I was you I would just buy some ridiculously long cat6 and hide it. I bought a 20ft cat6 cable for less than 5 dollars on newegg.

Well that wasn't the answer I was hoping for.
The ethernet port in my house is on the opposite side of the house from my room, so a long cable won't work. This is pretty much one of my only options besides paying to have a wire dropped to my room but that's too expensive.
