Ok, so I created two threads (one on this board and one on Tech) but was told to post it here as well. Some have recommended using crucial to determine compatibility, which I have done.
I was told that this product was compatible with my desktop - Dell Vostro 260.

Hopefully I'll be playing with dev tonight on something. If he wants to jump on that, I'd be game, I suppose. Not the biggest fan of that franchise (zombied out), but co-op is co-op.
