I agree, but I wouldn't mind the novelty of owning a V12

I haven't stayed on top of the new lines for M series or AMG in a while. But I always preferred the M series because you can get a stick and it doesn't require the road to be perfectly straight to drive fast. AMG cars are better suited for high speed highway touring, IMO. And if I'm driving a car with that much power it's not going to be an automatic.
And yeah, you can buy faster cars for half the money but there will always be trade-offs.

Well, yeah of course. It would be fun to drive, and comfortable too. If I'm buying something ridiculous, then it's going to be an '88 Motley Crue Ferrari(Testarossa).

for sure. I'd just feel like a well kept woman if I was driving a car like that and it was an automatic.

So pretty. I've pretty much accepted that I will never drive a classic ferrari because rich old fricks create insane markets for them. I also learned this from chasing classic cars.

Oh, I'm sure it's awesome to be able to just cruise highways with that much power. But if i'm paying that much money I'd want something with better performance in the curves. Back in 2009 when I got my M5 I was debating between that, the Audi S4, and the E55 AMG. I ultimately went with the M5 because it provides that same highway experience but can also handle the corners pretty damn well.

yep, although you can get into a Testarossa for around $70k with low miles. Not too bad?

How much would I have to spend for a wireless network card for my PC? $10?

r34 GTR? I'm not a huge fan of Japanese imports, but that's one car I really want to drive. I don't like the new ones at all though.

You ever heard of Powerline kits? I'd go with that over straight wireless.

I'm not a fan of Japanese cars either, even though I currently drive an Acura now

I'm a hater. Lots of variables involved with powerline kits for them to perform adequately.

That's true, but if your wiring isn't too old I've found they work a lot better than using a wireless adapter. Especially over long distances.

I'm a router lover. They make my peen hard.
Posted on 5/12/14 at 9:47 pm to brucevilanch
Well depending on your modem you usually still need a router anyway.
You have any router recommendations? I use Comcast and a Motorola SurfBoard SB6141 modem, but need a router. I was looking at these two:
ASUS RT-AC68U
Netgear Nighthawk

That's not what I mean. A solid router with gigabit wifi and a good centralized position, you're going to be in okay shape most of the time.
Well, yeah. I started using Powerline because I was living with a roommate who had the modem/router set up in his bedroom at the other end of the house and the wireless signal was just shite.
