Is there a big difference between a 3.0 and a 2.0 usb external disc drive? I have to get on for my laptop because it doesn't have a disc drive and the one I want is a 2.0, I just didn't know if I was missing out.
If you're talking an 8x dvd burner there shouldnt be a speed difference in 2.0 or 3.0. At least 2.0 is not bottlenecking it. Although you can pickup a 3.0 burner for basically the same price.

Yeah that's what I was thinking.
Disc Drive
That's the one I want to get just because it is so small and portable.

Can go even cheaper with a 3.0 one
Samsung 3.0
Or a $20 2.0 model
LG 2.0 model

I hate the damn internet at my parents house. Laggy as shite and it drops all the damn time.
Has anyone tried tethering with 4G LTE for gaming? My LTE speeds are amazing where I live so I may try that out

I know people who have and have had success doing it. The only problem is that you get REALLY shitty pings.
10k graphics score.1125/1400@1.25(stock) This thing is a monster and will overclock more.Highest temp so far has been 62C. I've added several inches to the e-peen today.

Just now expanding here on TD.com though beyond the sports board, really was just coming on this board to see if there are any WoT or WT MMO players.
You will soon discover how stupid the sports boards are.

I still read them from time to time but not nearly as much.

How legit is fry's? Do I need to make a trip there while I'm in Vegas?

Looks like I should. Now I just have to decide if its worth the cab ride.

I like Fry's. I've been to the one in Houston, but it's an overall electronics store. A modest selection of a little bit of everything, from car audio and TVs to Roombas and computer hardware.
Microcenter, on the other hand, is almost all PC stuff. Finally visited one back in December...Nearly shite myself when I saw the wall of motherboards, PSUs, cases, custom water cooling gear, etc. In my 10 years building PCs, it was the first time I've ever had the opportunity to see all that shite in person. Like a brick and mortar newegg.
If there's not a Microcenter near by, Fry's is definitely worth a cab ride (assuming we aren't talking about a $100 cab ride just to browse the store)

Who'd of thunk the first two TH "approved" z87 boards would be from ASrock and ECS?

Meh... I would still go with gigabyte, asus, msi or biostar over some of the ASRock boards (unless they put more quality parts on their z87 line)

My cab ride would about be $15-$20. I am in Caesars palace so it's not far.
What is wrong either asrock boards now? I like my extreme 4 but I will admit I am not on enthusiasts level so I'm curious.
