That's what I said. I asked him that since the picture showed my desk in it if he assumed he was getting the desk too.
He had no rebuttal.

People put pictures of things all the time then say different in description. If you have you put a CPU in find the shittiest CPU ever and send it

The only way you'll lose is if eBay views the "restocking fee" as something that only applies to returns rather than what is essentially a "cancellation."

Yea there is that risk but I think it's worth it if only to make this person not do this to someone else in the future and if he does maybe eBay will catch on to it and ban him.

I think you can report him for abusing buyer protection.

I need more HDD space. Does Windows 7 still have issues with drives 3TB and over?

Looking for help with a build. Reading through these threads and other places online have gotten me really interested in building my own gaming rig. Can anyone help me with some ideas on parts? I want to play games like SC, Skyrim, Dark Souls II, BF4, etc on the highest specs I can with my budget.
Budget: $1000
Purpose: Gaming, Steam game downloads, and video streaming (movies, etc).
What I need: Basically everything but an Operating system and a mouse.
When will I build: ASAP
Overclocking: No, dont know enough about it currently and have no need for it right now.
Lifetime: I would like to be able to upgrade as time goes on and I become more learned
Can you tell me at what level I would be able to play those games above and also, why do hear people always use the level at which they play Crysis 3 as a a way to measure their computers ability ?
TIA

You should check out the "build the best gaming pc you can" thread, if you haven't already

No W7 doesn't have issues with drives over 3TB, as long as your mobo controller supports it. If its a Marvell, you're probably fine.

I would have sent him a cpu that was for a different socket. Like a $5 dollar ebay Athlon from 2003.

1. If its clearly stated that its for mobo ONLY, he has no gripe.
2. eBay offers the "ask seller a question" option specifically for cases like this. "Well it says mobo but shows a CPU in the pic with it...let me verify before bidding"
That being said, I try to post pics of the item ONLY to avoid this hassle. Too many people trying to hustle and pull a fast one

I was having trouble with AB when a display was plugged into the MPowers on board graphics.
I since have no displays plugged in and AB works fine with clocking, volting and setting fan speeds. It is just a little slow/laggy but I start with the 7870/270x and do the 290 last.
You just select each in settings and save the profile you want for each chip/card.
Edt: try teamviewer, I never touch my miner in the attic. I can restart, shutdown, whatever and still have control.

I have mine in my closet hooked up to a spare tv with a long HDMI cable.
It gets too hot in there, so the cards are usually pushing 90C+ with 100% fan speeds. I tried undervolting the 6950s and such but it didn't help. Don't know what I'm going to do next
