Trying to be all tech savvy with your hot shot server jargon. Trying to manipulate some poor soul into saying;
"Oh yeah? What chips are you running in those bad boys?!" He's so excited about the answer that he's begun to salivate.
You reply with someone along the lines of,
"Ahh just some opteron 6200s, you know".
He responds, "Oh yeah, cool..." in a tone that is clearly unimpressed, and he thinks to himself that
your company is too cheap to spend the money on Xeons.
Then a beautiful friendship is born, because he feels bad about your awful work environment. Thus, you get all the assistance you need for your build.

FWIW, I couldn't care less about the hardware. What's the recommended specs? Cool....copy/paste. Hey vendor, send me slightly better than this.

OK guys...need opinions.
I was selling a mobo on eBay and the pic I had taken had a CPU in it but in the description it's very clearly made that the auction is the mobo only. A buyer buys it with buy it now and then AFTER he pays he asks me which CPU comes with it. He didn't ask before buying and paying like any normal person would and again there is no mention of a cpu in the auction description.
By the time I got his question I had already purchased the shipping and the packaging materials. He is now being a dick and asking for a full refund since there is no CPU saying my pic was misleading. I told him no because my auction says I can keep up to a 20% restocking fee and because the auction does not mention a CPU. I was only going to charge him for my cost incurred but since he is trying to bully me and file a claim with eBay I charged him the full 20% which is a little over $30.
WWYD in this situation? Exactly what I did or give him the full refund and carry on?
The $30 is nothing to me but I can't stand people that don't think they have to suffer any consequences for their actions so I say frick him.

Ship him the part, and keep the money. If your description has no mention of a CPU then he's at fault for not reading.

I'm not shipping him shite. I refunded his money minus the 20% and have already relisted it. He has told me he is going to file a claim with eBay which I feel confident I will win due to how it transpired and because of the communications I have had with him. I saved them all and it's pretty evident he was trying to bully me into sending him more items which is against the eBay ToS for a buyer to do.
