shite, my nh-d14 is heavier and bigger than that one. I don't have any envy of the closed loop coolers.

Yeah, that was my first thought. I'd be scared to let my tower stand upright with that thing.

Yes, over time maybe so. I know ive done some shtt getting MOBOs in small places. Blending and flexing the board to make it fit.

Shoot. Nothing a little baling wire can't fix.

45 Hwy and the GF's 43.
Both are TDIs.

i always said if i got something that was TDI, it better be AWD. Hmm, i will have to compare it to an Impreza WRX to see if it's worth the buy.

Well they are nice cars, Audi and VWs.
EDT: AWD would kill my the MPG, no? I've always owned trucks/suvs but purchased a TDI for commute back and forth to work.

yeah it would, but its so much fun. Especially when it TDI, taking the Dalrymple turn off of I-10 lol
back to actual computers though lol
If i was to give myself a $2000 budget for a computer, and that does not include the case or burner, would i be able to build a "high caliber" computer?
I am going to start buying pieces over a long span to build one. So i just want to give myself a clue what i am looking at, price wise.

Gaming PC?
Two grand can build a very solid setup. Depends on the graphics card(s).

I wouldn't recommend doing that. I would wait until you have all of the funds to start buying. PC tech changes quickly, so by the time you have a finished build some of the parts may be a gen behind

Define high-caliber. What do you plan to use it for, and what resolution/refresh rate is the monitor you plan to use? $2,000 may be overspending.

Don't do that, unless by "long span" you mean a month or two max, just to hope for deals here and there.

well i am looking for a high refresh rate and i would like to buy a 1440 monitor. It will be used for gaming and photo/video purposes. I will take yalls advice on waiting though.
I just want one amazing PC. I love mine right now, even thought i didnt spend that much on it.

Well I have a modded Crossover but lock my frames @ 75-80 depending on the genre.
IPS panels look terrible and have extreme motion blur with anything over 90+ FPS. I suggest just buying yourself a Korean right now or waiting for a 1440/120/G-Sync monitor in the next few weeks.
Have you seen the 28" ASUS 2160/144/G-Sync monitors? I cant wait to pick up 2. Hopefully G-Sync will fix the blurring that IPS panels have at extreme refresh rates.

Would any of you purchase the ASUS MARS 760 for $650?
IDK why I want to waste my money to just try the thing, but I do. My question is, what is the point? At that price Id rather have a 290/290X/780/780Ti

It's essentially SLI 760s for about the same price you'd pay for SLI 770s? Great deal.

I saw that the other day. It's almost as ridiculous as this. Asus Ares II. Dual 7970 chips. $1500
