what do you need with .net? is it something a beginner can learn and eventually help with or is that probably too advanced? Are you needing vb.net?

Which 7870 do you have?

Sapphire ghz edition. Xt is a little better but mine has been great.

Yea your score looked really good in Blue's thread. It baffles me that a $230 card performs so well.

Reviews of my card said you can push it to near 7950 levels. I don't have a 7950 to compare it too to know for sure. Like I said the xt isn't a massive difference from what I have read but given the choice I would get it.

Yea I saw those. They have 2 which is what I will do if I go that way but I was just looking for a back up in case Amazon sells those before I make my mind up.

You can also find a 7950 for under $300 now if you wanted to shell out a little bit more. of course if you crossfire that will add up.

Yea I saw PowerColors 7950 for $250 this weekend. Had a few issues with my old 7950. Left a bad impression.

If you're staying at 1080p then 7870 XT/LE is the way to go

I am but I if I do go that route I am getting two cards just so I can run ultra on games like BF4 and maintain high FPS with no issues.
I was really leaning towards a 770 but for a little more money two of these should run circles around that 770...no?
I just am worried about not being able to game in Window mode because of crossfire. The only game I do that in is Arma II but I play a lot of Arma II.

The 7950 in xfire is better than a single titan at 1080p, and 7870 XT is the same as 7950 at 1080p
