Some of you might remember I went all crazy and purchased a shtt ton of gear for live streaming. Well, it didn't go so well. The Avermedia HD Gamer doesn't work with Korean IPS monitors in Fullscreen or Window Mode. Not a big issue, but it downscales my 2560x1440 to 1920x1080. Which is sort of a big deal IMO. There is no consumer lvl hardware on the market which will capture 1440. So, that was a waste.

1440 is still a small percentage, I don't even know what it looks like. This doesn't surprise me

The picture just looks... "clear" and "sharper". Also IPS panels have greater color accuracy and truer blacks. Much like Plasma vs LED for TVs.
It is well worth the premium you pay for compute hardware and monitor price.

Yeah, i'm going to just sell this 7950 now and purchase a 270X. I'm just using it as a GPU for my test bench/stream box.
Really trying to cut back on the junk I have. Stay with 3x780TIs and 1 more nVidia for my Underwater Node 304 that I have never finished.

Try for $350 on eBay and purchase a 270X w/ 2 game codes. They had a few in stock yesterday on NewEgg. I have a 650Ti to hold it's place for now. Really is just a video display card and not a gaming card, I don't need a "gaming card" in that rig.

Yeah, LTC mining difficulty is just going to go up. Prices are fluctuating. Profit is still profit, but for those who normally use their card for gaming, not worth it to avoid gaming just to mine. But still no big problem with those of you with single mid-range cards just mining while you're not using it. Just keep volts at stock and temps below 80C.
