I have heard nightmares about their RMA and doesn't it cost you some to RMA?
Posted on 5/9/13 at 1:10 pm to stout

What do you guys use for monitor calibration? I feel like every time I get the settings the way I like, I play a game that exploits it's weaknesses somehow.

Goodbye to ram deals
I have heard this before. Guess I won't upgrade mine unless its really worth it.

Oh goodie, just in time for people who are doing brand new haswell builds. Just upgraded graphics and I'm fine sticking with my Corsair Vengeance 16Gb 1600Mhz until this blows over.

My ram isn't great but it's not worth upgrading. Is it maxwell that expects to allow ddr4?

Just bought a corsair h100i and a second HDD. In the upcoming month I'll be throwing in a 8350, crossfired 7870 Tahiti le's and a 750w pay into a define r4 xl

That's going to be a beast. You play at 1440?
Posted on 5/9/13 at 6:59 pm to Mr Gardoki
Nah, I'm going to get the Asus 144hz monitor and try and get a constant 120fps. I'm building for bf4

I thought about crossfired 7870s but I am going to get a 770 for now. Maybe add one in SLI later.
I wish I knew what the price point of the 780 will be.

Should have gone with the h220 over the h100i. Blows the snots off of it.
Stout, order your new video card off of amazon. By far the best.

Yea I am. I have a $300 Amazon gift card to use.
I got $205 for that 570 selling it on Amazon. Paid $100 for it brand new.

From what I've read the 770 is only about 10% faster than the 670. Doesn't really seem like that would justify the potential price difference between the two(I've been working a lot and in constant benchmark obsession mode again since I'm upgrading.)it will be a beast though stout.

Theres some decent 2x8gb 1.35v 1600 on sale at new egg for $85.
Best price right now

That doesn't make much sense though. I thought it was basically a 680?

I got the h100i for $95 and its dropped my prime95 full load temps by 15+ degrees(44c).I'm happy at the moment.
I'll try and find the article I read.

That's what the difference between the two are now (670/680), maybe closer to 15%

And the 770 is supposed to be a little faster than the 680.
It's also a little cheaper.

Yeah I just read a newer article that's saying just that. A 670 will probably drop to around 275-285 when they are launched though. Get 2 of those for 150 more and add a third later??????? Hahaha
